This has been my worst massage experience in 8 years in Shanghai.
Having a bearable backpain for a few days I have been suggested the 60min Chinese Manual Oil Therapy costing 460RMB, handled by a middle age man therapist.
Once my muscles were cold again the pain came back and I felt something wrong with my scapula. 3 days later my arm became num and I went to see an Osteopath from The Clinic in emergency. I was diagnosed a Thoracic outlet resulting of a manipulation in that area, matching with the massage I recently had. It has now been over 3 weeks and I will need to continue my medical treatment for at least 6 weeks, which restrains my activities and has an important financial cost.
Till today, the manager and owner refused to take any responsibility, didn’t care to apologize even a medical report proves my condition. They suggested me to see their own doctor and get an Xray. My therapist explained her it was a muscle issue and that nothing would be visible on an Xray.
I would not recommend this place to anyone and I am very disappointed with the way they treated me.

And that latter part is indication that this place is actually good. After a long day walking around Disneyland yesterday, my mum, sister, and I were desperate for a good massage to relieve our sore aching feet. I did online search and stumbled upon this place with great reviews. Even though their operating hours weren’t listed on Google, we decided to try our luck and headed over around 10 PM. (For anyone wondering—they’re open daily from 10am and take bookings until 12:30 AM!)
The place was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. We went for the aroma oil foot massage, and it was exactly what we needed. The pressure was spot on, and we really appreciated that they lined the foot tubs with plastic for hygiene.
Special shoutout to masseuses No. 2, and No. 3 (both female), and No. 56 (male)—all incredibly skilled and clearly very experienced. They were also very courteous and kind. I had to ask for multiple nails to be fully painted and when attempting to wait for the quick dry polish to dry at the end, they insisted that I leave and they wrap my nails in plastic wrap instead. When I took the wrap off 15 minutes later, it took of the nail polish in clumps from every nail.
